Upholsterer and decoration, craft art à la française
It is in the fiftees that the history of the decorator workshop begins. Maggy Camberoque created a small carpets business in an apartment in Opera street, which acts as a workshop. Her work is recognized by the greatest designer of the time, Mr Bonnet, who multiplies the orders. In 1971, the workshop moved to the Irma Moreau Street. But it was in 1990 where the workshop settled finally in stores, Celony Street. After these many years devoted to the love of perfection of work, Maggy Camberoque passed the torch to her son, Pascal. Carrying on with energy the family business, Pascal moved into a larger store on Rue Granet. The turnover increases rapidly by three and the team grows: two seamstresses and two furniture upholsterers are hired.
Staff: 2 upholsterers, 3 seamstresses and Pascal Camberoque form the team of the workshop but they rely on specialist staff on an ad hoc basis depending on the importance of work in progress. Sewing curtains upholstery, curtains, blinds, covers for seats and sofas, bedspreads, drapes ... and all types of work related to furniture custom sewing. The upholsterers: Repair and coverage of all types of ancient and modern seats, fabrics, stretched carpets, laying and installation of curtains and blinds rods.
